Since 2003, this has been an annual, one-evening, event that is a combined effort between the St. John/Dyer Chamber and the Schererville Rotary Club. It is planned by a small joint committee over several months prior to the event and requires many volunteers, as well as community business involvement. The corn is provided by local farmers & pre-cooked on the day of the event. The Chamber proceeds from this event benefit the scholarship fund. It has been very well received by the community, offering food, socializing, live entertainment, children’s activities, as well as booths operated by local businesses and organizations.
